Hockey Mom. Lacrosse Mom. Your Photographer.
Here's the thing about being a goalie mom — it's not for the faint of heart. My oldest son decided to strap on the pads and stand in front of a net in both hockey AND lacrosse, and let me tell you, the anxiety is real. So in 2015, I did what any reasonable goalie mom would do: I hid behind a camera.
What started as a coping mechanism turned into a full-blown passion. I fell in love with the way a single photo could freeze a moment in time — the joy, the chaos, the quiet in-between. Painted Anchor Images was born, and I haven't put the camera down since.
When I'm not photographing families and seniors across the Northeast, you'll find me on the bleachers, heart in my throat, watching my boys do their thing. The anchor in our name? It's a reminder that the moments we capture are what ground us — the things we hold onto when everything else is moving fast.
